He has Overcome!

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one that deals with stress. Sometimes that stress is so overwhelming! It is easy for me to loose focus and stress myself out even further.

Some psychologist suggest imagining going to your "happy place" to relieve your stress. I've never found that to work, but for a second I was you to imagine something with me.

Think about how wonderful it feels to dive into a cool pool on a hot summer day. The instant relief that floods your body and the water cools your body. I imagine that to be what God's peace feels like.

It refreshes your body and gives you strength.

The amazing thing about God, is that that peace is free to us at all times.

As we go throughout our day, and face the many problems of this life, God reminds us that we are never alone. He is always there with us, and cares for us and our problems.

I find peace in the thought that He is always walking beside me, and that He is always ready to give me peace and comfort me through anything.

In Jeremiah 1:5, God reminds us that He knew us even before we were formed in our mother's wombs. Therefore, He goes before me and prepares a way for me. He knows what I am going to face, and He is ready to give me peace and strength.

There will always be problems. Whether that financial, familial, etc., we will all have our own difficulties to face. It is how we face them that defines the outcome.

As an encouragement, don't allow your struggle to let you down. Though it is difficult, it doesn't mean that it's the end. Lean and rely on God and His peace.

God has already overcome every problem that you could ever face! Seek Him, and find peace.
